Founded in 2002, the Qual-IT Group began simply, offering hardware level installation and repair services for networking and server systems across central London.
By 2005 the company had realised the future of portable devices and opened Q-Labs in central london. Q-Labs offered same day collection, repair and return of mobile devices by motorbike courier service, which included the repair of laptops, netbooks, notebooks, tablets and phones. Our same day repair turnaround set us apart from the competition.
By 2007 the company had noticed an increasing demand for replacement LCD's, as desktop devices were being replaced by portable devices that were moved around, and thus at easy risk of display glass damage. By this time, we had built a strong network of parts suppliers within the mobile device arena, which included many strong ties with distributors and manufacturers in Japan and China. This year marked a significant turning point in our development as a company, for, it was during this period that we took the bold step of withdrawing attention from all our previous endeavors in a bid to channel the full weight of our experience, energy, passion and focus into the provision of a laptop replacement screens to both businesses and the public alike.
At the time, there were few suppliers of laptop screens, and no professional UK based organisations supplying these units. With this goal in mind, in the first quarter of 2008 we launched laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk and were the first to offer a free online video tutorial to explain the process of laptop screen replacement. With a professional and informative site, and an excellent video instruction we progressed to expand into the number one position for retail and wholesale of lcd units.
By 2010, the company had expanded to new warehouses and launched a wholesale operation which supplies other resellers across the European Union with wholesale packages of LCD screens for resale.
Because, as a company, we now deal solely in laptop screens we can offer detailed expertise in that field. We stock a wide and varied number of popular screens and hard to find models. To illustrate; we have more than 29 thousand laptop screen models in our screen compatibility database and over 700 different types of laptop screen panel in our warehouse. However, unlike many of our competitors we are also able to source more obscure screens that you may have trouble finding in mainstream outlets.
