Hard Disk / Hard Drive Issues

• The laptop does not recognise your drive.
• The hard drive makes noises typically a clicking sound
• Files are garbaged

• Hard drive upgrades (we take your old drive and make an identical copy to the new drive)
• Hard drive Replacement. (we can reload your original software such as Windows XP)

Memory problems

• The laptop randomly restarts or displays a "blue screen" error report

General Problems

• The laptop is dead
• The laptop beeps only, and there is no display
• The laptop restarts itself or shuts down without warning
• The CD-ROM/ DVD or floppy drive does not read disks
• The PC card slots or USB sockets do not recognise any devices inserted
• The internal modem / network card does not work

Laptop repair policy.

If we find your laptop needs parts we will never fit new parts until we have discussed the costs with you.

If the repair is not economical we may offer you a cash back for your old laptop or trade in for a new one with all your data loaded onto it. Otherwise we can just return your laptop to you and you will pay us just £35.00 plus VAT, a flat fee which covers the collection and return of the unit.

How do we work?

1. Complete our online form or telephone us on 0845 867 3851 and give us as much detail as you can about the problem
2. Our engineers will assess the information, give you a diagnosis if possible and arrange a collection time for your laptop
3. You will receive a text message or email to tell you we have received your laptop
4. We will diagnose your laptop for the repair needed and then call you within 24 hours, often the same day we collect
5. A formal quotation is then made often the same day as the collection, in writing and / or by telephone
6. The repair is then carried out and we will text you to when the laptop is repaired and fully tested
7. Payment is then made by credit card over the telephone or online
8. The laptop is shipped back at an agreed time of the day
9. We will back our laptop repair work with a 90 day warranty. New laptop parts carry a 1 year warranty***
